New Look

A trifle, but inspired by Dr. Virago (and others), I've messed with the look. Thoughts?

(The image is one of mine. It's the beautiful romanesque monastery of San Antimo in Tuscany -- the same image that graces my other pages.)

I like the new look. A lot.

Out of curiosity, what program did you use to create your other pages (the Virginia Tech ones)? I ask for a selfish reason: GW is about to found a medieval/early modern institute, and we'll need a web page ...

We get Adobe Dreamweaver free through campus, so I took a short course on it and used that for the VT pages. Dreamweaver's WYSIWYG, so it actually wasn't that difficult at all...

I like this, but think the sidebars could be a third narrower ... :-)

Meant to say: thanks for posting the info on the program you used. Right now I am trying Google Site (through Google Apps) but it has very little flexibility. Still, it is easy.
